You download the latest CuteFTP version from:
http://www.cuteftp.com/trial.aspx
Step 2
You start CuteFTP. Now you add your server to Site Manager, to do this you need data from Client Area so you log on your SeedHost.eu account:https://www.seedhost.eu/whmcs/clientarea.php
Next you go to Services -> My services -> Product name -> View Details -> You look for the data needed [hostname, username, password etc.]
Step 3
Click on „Site Manager”
- you add your FTP server [no encrypting]
- fill in all the data necessary (Label, host address - hostname, username, password) and you choose the login method: Normal. And next you click on „Connect”
- you add your FTP server [encrypted]
- fill in all the data necessary (Label, host address - hostname, username, password) and you choose the login method: Normal. And next you click on „Connect”
- you add your SFTP server
- fill in all the data necessary (Label, host address - hostname, username, password) and you choose the login method: Normal. And next click on „Connect”
Step 4
You choose the destination folder on your computer [window on the left], next in the right window you choose the folder you want to download. You right click and choose the option „Download”
if you want to use the Multi-threading option, you need to go as follows:
Step 1
You go to Site Manager and next to Properties -> Options. You change Site specific configuration options to Use site specific options, you also change Site max concurrent transfers [in this case to 8]
Go to Tools -> Global Options -> Connection and change the values of Global max concurrent transfers and Per site max concurrent transfers. In this case from 12 and 4 to 50 and 20.
Step 3
You got to Transfer and change the value of When selecting MAX in a multi-part transfer, use, to 8. Next click on OK to save the changes.
Step 4
Now get connected to your FTP server and choose the file you want to download. Right click on it and choose Download Advanced -> Multi-part download -> MAX (8 parts) .
Next in Queue Window at the bottom of the program click on „+” to roll down a single file to see if it is downloaded with Multi-threading
