Rescue mode

To activate the rescue mode log in your client area, go to "My Services", then choose the service you want and use. In the service details page choose "rescue".

Now from the drop down menu choose FreeBSD Rescue Image or GRML Linux Rescue Image and click on the Rescue button.

Now the server will be booted into the rescue mode chosen. In about 5-15 minutes when the server is booted in the rescue mode, the password will be updated in the manager. When you decode the root password, you will get a new rescue mode root password.

NOTE: To switch off the rescue mode and boot the server into the normal boot, just reboot the server. After a reboot the server will be booted in the normal boot.
