Adding torrent files via web browser extension




Remote Torrent Adder extension is avilable for Chrome and Torrent Control for Firefox and they give the possibility of adding torrent files into your bittorrent client without logging into your web interface.

Install extension from links below:

Remote Torrent Added - click on extension icon, go to settings and add new server:



rTorrent

Server Name: name it as you wish

Server Type: ruTorrent WebUI

Click Add.

Host: username.hostname - your service usernane and your server hostname, can be found in the client area

Port: 443


SSL: enabled

Username and Password: your ruTorrent WebUI username and password

Relative path: /rutorrent


Deluge

Server Name: namy it as you wish

Server Type: Deluge WebUI

Click Add.

Host: your server hostname, can be found in the client area

Port: 443

SSL: enabled

Relative path: /username/deluge - where username is your Deluge WebUI username

Username and Password: your Deluge WebUI username and password


qBittorrent

Server Name: name it as you wish

Server Type: qBittorrent v4.1+ WebUI

Click Add.


Host: your server hostname, can be found in the client area

Port: 443/username/qbittorrent - where username is your qBittorrent WebUI username

SSL: enabled

Username and Password: your qBittorrent WebUI username and password


Transmission

Server Name: name it as you wish

Server Type: Transmission WebUI

Click Add.

Host: your server hostname, can be found in the client area

Port: 443/username/transmission/rpc - where username is your Transmission WebUI username

SSL: enabled

Username and Password: your Transmission WebUI username and password




Torrent Control - click on extension icon, go to Server configuration and in Current server use Add a new server



rTorrent

Server name: name it as you wish

Bittorrent client: ruTorrent

Server address: your ruTorrent URL

Username and Password: your ruTorrent WebUI username and password


Deluge

Server name: name it as you wish

Bittorrent client: Deluge Web UI

Server address: your Deluge URL

Password: your Deluge WebUI password


qBitorrent

Server name: name it as you wish

Bittorrent client: qBittorrent

Server address: your qBittorrent URL

Username and Password: your qBittorrent WebUI username and password


Transmission

Server name: name it as you wish

Bittorrent client: Transmission

Server address: https://transmission.url/rpc - copy your Transmission URL from the client area and add /rpc at the end

Username and Password: your Transmission WebUI username and password
