Download files from server via FTP – BitKinex

Step 1

Download the latest version of NitKinex from:
http://www.bitkinex.com/download
next install the program on your PC

Step 2

Run BitKinex. Now your server needs to be added to Site Manager, to do it you need all the data that can be found in Client Area. Log in your account at SeedHost.eu:
https://www.seedhost.eu/whmcs/clientarea.php

Next go to Services -> My services -> Product name -> View Details -> And find the data that you need [hostname, username, password itd.]

Step 3

In BitKinex window 3 types of connections with your FTP account can be added

plain FTP connection [unencrypted] – do do it you right-click on „Ftp” icon and then you choose New -> FTP [Ctrl+1]

In the next step you need to give the name of your session and confirm with „Enter”. Now the window „FTP Session” opens and you need to provide all the data required [Server address, Security, User, Password – can be found in Client Area - see Step 2].

FTP/TLS connection [encrypted] – to do it you right-click on the „Ftp” icon and then choose New -> FTP [Ctrl+1]

In the next step you need to give the name of your session and confirm with „Enter”. Now the window „FTP Session” opens and you need to provide all the data required [Server address, Security, User, Password – can be found in Client Area - see Step 2].

SFTP connection [encrypted] – to do it you right-click on the „SFtp/SSH” icon and then choose New -> SFtp/SSH [Ctrl+3]

In the next step you need to give the name of your session and confirm with „Enter”. Now the window „FTP Session” opens and you need to provide all the data required [Server address, Security, User, Password – can be found in Client Area - see Step 2].

Step 4

Next you click on „OK” and your session will be saved in BitKinex

Step 5

You choose the session added previously, right-click on it and choose "Browse" or after choosing the session, you use the "Enter" button. If everything has been done correctly, you should get connected with your server.

Step 6

To start file downloading , in the right-hand window you choose the destination on your PC, next in the right-hand window you find the location of the file we want to download from the FTP server. After clicking on the folder/file to be moved, you use the button „Transfer Fie(s) From Left to Right”
